I created this site to share the wonders of Farscape. I did not have access to the SCIFI channel in Farscape’s early days, but once I was able to get it, I new that Farscape was something special.

I began to watch all the reruns that were going on at the time and caught up on all the earlier episodes. After catching up on Farscape, I was looking forward to seeing the rest of season four, but could not figure out when it was going to be coming on. The SCIFI channel did not indicate to when it would be coming on, so I went in search for the answer on my own.

After researching on the Internet, I found that it had been canceled. As soon as I find a great show, I find out that it had been canceled. Why would someone cancel such a great show? The SCIFI Channel had just made one fan lose interest in a network that would get rid of such a powerful show.

I was really mad at the SCIFI channel, and began to not watch anything related to the SCIFI channel. It was not that hard to do since all the SCIFI network was producing was garbage anyway.

During the time away from the SCIFI channel, I found a fan site (savefarscape.com) that was trying to help save Farscape with a campaign that seemed very legit on saving Farscape. I found a whole slew of fans out there that had the same feelings as I did, and really got excited that there were others like me whom loved Farscape.

I soon found myself writing letters to networks in hopes that they would hear the cries of us Farscape (Scaper) fans, and put it on their network. After a long wait and many letters, I was thrilled, and sadden to hear that a Farscape mini series (The Peacekeeper Wars) was announced to tie up all the loose ends to the cliffhanger we fans were left with at the end of season 4.

I was thrilled to hear that a mini series was in the works because it meant that I was going to get more Farscape, and that is really what all the fans really wanted. But I was also saddened because it was just a mini series. Farscape, at least for now, would end after the mini series was over.

I can only say that as Farscape fans, we need to keep Farscape alive by letting people know about the show. How much we are still interested in it. Help by writing more letters, and be sure to buy the DVD’s that have and are coming out. Make Farscape a big business.

Who knows, maybe we might even get to see Farscape on the big screen. Now wouldn’t that be nice!!!!
